Disregarding every previous polemic placed forth in defense of Italian culture, economics, identity, design, branding ‘Made in Italy’, agriculture and agro-exports by her Moderate right party ‘Brothers of Italy’, Giorgia Meloni has sold out her country, rendering it completely prone to WEF and EU Commission prerogatives.
Let’s take a look at what is brewing for Italian farmers, who have taken to the town squares in protest, despite the fact that government hackers have attempted to foil the initiatives with false communications claiming the cancellation of numerous locations of protest. Interestingly enough – and contrary to the protests which have been fomenting in France and Germany – Italian farmers have been abandoned by their Unions, which receive their marching orders from governmental entities, evidently, and have now clearly illustrated that they do not have our best interests in mind.
Yesterday, Danilo Calvani- president of CRA and the energizing force behind the Italian Farmer’s movement – spoke with Raffaela Regoli (journalist for ‘Fuori del Coro’) at Pontinia, near Rome, explaining various pertinent aspects of the Farmers’ protests. .
Despite political and cultural differences which historically have divided various Italian regions, the unifying force of these men and women is their love of the land, their pride in producing the best quality food in the world, and their rage and desperation at being abandoned by government infrastructure and a costly and absurd bureaucracy which has only doubled in recent years thanks to EU membership. Rage and desperation which are exacerbated by the fact that Giorgia Meloni won last year’s elections on a platform which promised – among other objectives like the reduction of illegal immigration, which has doubled under her watch – the protection of the ‘Made in Italy’ agricultural and food sector.
According to Calvani, the protest will not stop until specific prerogatives have been fulfilled, because this has the potential to become one of the largest grassroots movements that Italy has ever witnessed, involving not only our farmers, but small businesses and members of the community as well. The Italian Constitution has been betrayed and raped by EU impositions and complicit politicians; institutions and individuals who do not represent us, and our farmers will lead the way to a democratic resolution.
CRA (Comitati Riuniti Agricoltori), is not a worker’s union, but rather a committee established to fight the reality of a lack of representation in the agricultural sector. Calvani recounts that their committee initially attempted to establish contacts, projects and resolutions with various unions, to no avail. These same unions have released press declarations stating that Italian farmers are just fine, adding – if possible – fuel to the fire of the protests. For this reason, no union representation will be permitted at the protests, and for the farmers, the flag of Italy will be sufficient.
Here are the objectives of the Italian Farmers’ Movement, which has understood that Mr. Global wants to destroy us, and they’re having none of it:
Immediate interruption of the EU’s Green New Deal. The ‘green dictates’ must immediately cease, because they are destroying Italian agriculture, and the raising of livestock. The abandonment of chemical fertilizers would be suicidal. The sale of farmland for solar panels also. I, personally would add the prohibition of the sale of Italian farmland to non residents and alrge corporations;
Bilateral accords with North African countries for the purchase of grain must cease immediately, because they impede the possibility of Italian farmers to establish an equitable price for their grain and produce, causing economic disaster;
Guarantee of access to sufficient water; maintenance of roads in decent conditions;
Simplification of the bureaucratic process, which tends to favour large distribution to the disadvantage of family-run farms;
The EU has prohibited the planting of grain in Lombardia and Puglia (wait: wasn’t everyone lamenting the risk of grain shortages?), limitation which must be immediately eradicated;
Abolition of Italian government proposals to farmers in order that they abandon the land, for which the government will pay them a stipend. According to these proposals, if a farmer chooses to continue working he will be taxed with an additional tax (Irpef), causing the imminent destruction of agriculture.
I would propose that no piece of agricultural land be sold to anyone residing outside of Italy, but with even greater limitations. See: Conservative Manifesto: https://wordpress.com/post/thebridgepontifex.com/526
Which raises the question: who wants to get their hand on Italian agriculture? Why are they forcing Italian farmers to stop producing? If the plan is to force the world to consume grasshoppers and cockroaches, it is clear that the best food in the world will have to disappear.
